Harmony
Part 6
In a few small panels, Ness thinks back to the first time he and Porky met. They are both quite young. Ness has King with him. Ness is his young self as seen in Magicant. Porky and his parents have just moved to their house, and they can be seen moving stuff into the house. Lardna is carrying a couch on her shoulder. Porky notices Ness looking at him behind the fence. He walks over.
Ness
What's your name?
Porky
Porky. We just moved here.
Ness
I'm Ness. I guess we're neighbors now.
Porky
Are you going to make fun of me because I'm fat? Everyone else does.
Ness
What? Why would I do that? I don't make fun of people.
Porky
Okay. We can be friends, then.
Ness Narration (over Mani Mani statue with Giygas behind it)
If it weren't for that evil statue… If it weren't for Giygas… I wonder if we could still be friends.
One last glimpse of Porky after the Giygas battle. The evil dimension is breaking apart.
Porky
I'll just sneak away to another era to think about my next plan. It's a good bet that we will see each
other again…
Back to the present.
Ness
So you've kept your promise, after 12 years.
Tracy
Ness! Be careful! He's dangerous in that thing!
Ness looks around at the injured party.
Porky
Now which one of us is the cool guy, huh? Look at me! Look at what I've become!
Ness rolls away. The leg slams into the ground hard. He stands back up, concentrates, and uses PSI.
Ness
Life up!
A soft blue/green glow covers the entire party. They slowly begin to recover.
Porky fires off missiles again, but Ness fires up a shield to protect the party, and they're covered by a light barrier. The missiles explode around the barrier, but keep the party safe.
Ness
Leave them alone! Your fight's with me!
Porky
Wah-hahahaha! Fine, then! Bring it on, pig's butt!
Ness
(Look at you, Porky… I guess you're intent on fighting me. Maybe if I just remembered how to do
PK Rockin' again…)
Page check: 2 pages. The next page is reserved ONLY for a mostly dialogue-free Ness vs. Porky fight. But if you really need extra room, it can be cut short. The other party members can be seen slowly recovering during this part. Ness uses no PSI. Porky fires missiles, attacks with legs, and charges. By page 3, things begin to change. The party gathers around Ness as Porky backs up. Kang maintains a power shield as Ness stares his nemesis in the face.
Porky
Hahaha, fast aren't you? But you know, I liked you better as a robot!
Ness
You okay, Tracy, Picky, and friends?
Tracy
Fine now.
Lydia
So, Ness… what should we do?
Kang
Come on! Wallop him with some super PSI!
Porky
Picky! This is your last chance to join me! I have been calling out to you for so long. I want you to come
with me! You could command my army! (background is commander Picky)
Picky
He's insane, Ness. And look how old he is. He's just an old crazy man now. I can barely recognize him.
So do what you have to.
He's… He's no brother of mine…
Ness
What happened to you, Porky? Why are you here?
Porky
Would you really like to know? *cough*
Well, I suppose that it is a most amazing story…
This part can be told with backgrounds and child-like drawings hinting at Porky's story.
Porky
When I fled after the defeat of Giygas… I found myself thinking long and hard about what to do next…
I realized that with a time machine, I had plenty of… time to do whatever I want. I could go to the far future and acquire technology so advanced that I'd be immortal… *cough*
Only… my method of time travel, is flawed. I have traveled so much that my body hasn't aged
as it should… But my mind is still Picky's age. I'm still the same old Porky at heart. Spankety!
When Giygas' ambition became a part of me, the universe itself reacted. Almost as if it were trying to purge what was left of Giygas… Time and space itself began shutting me out of entire eras. Time would reject me, sending me back to the chronosphere… Forcing me to search for another exit point, only afterwards to be rejected again…
Porky
So I began plucking people out of their times before I was rejected once again… I brainwashed them,
and created an entire army to serve me. Others, I just keep around to toy with. But my army… I made it so that I could do more and more each time I traveled to another era. My army doubled in size
whenever I "visited" the universe.
This dialogue should be over the chronosphere, a swirling blue vortex. A large army of pigmasks can
be seen, but only in shadow. One is big and has horns. Their eyes, however, glow in the darkness. Fangasm!
Only, now I have run out of places to go. Of all the millions of years I've explored, I have run out of
places and times to go… Except for one. An age close to where it all started… Maybe the last place
could accept me. But twelve years was the closest I could come. And I'm probably hanging onto this
visit by a thread…
Close up on Lydia.
Porky
So… I lied in wait around the entrance to this time, waiting for a foolish time traveler from your distant, destroyed future. But I was too excited, and I attacked them outright. I sent their ship spiraling out of control… *cough* So I had to chase you down. I wish to learn your method of time travel, Lydia. I wish to learn how your people so freely navigate time and space. So that I can be free of this ever shrinking prison!
Ness
Why? Why are you doing this?
Porky
I. Am. So. Bored.
Only two things excite me now. Where will I go if this era rejects me and there is no place else to run? It gets me so scared, I can almost feel myself shaking. How thrilling! And the other reason? *cough* *cough* I wish to see the destruction of this world. I tire of it. But perhaps seeing it destroyed might entertain me… if just for a little while.
Tracy
You're a monster! What you've done is horrible!
Lydia
So, you want to know the secrets of my people's time travel?
Porky
Yes. Yes!
We see Lydia set her gun's setting to OVERLOAD. She steps out of the shield.
Kang
Lydia, what the heck are you doing?!
Lydia walks up to Porky. She turns on her watch, which bring up schematics of a weird chair with a dome device attached to it. Porky stares at them and drools.
Lydia
My watch has all the information you need. Take it, and leave us alone.
Porky
Yes. Wise choice!
Picky
Lydia, what's wrong with you?!
Lydia
Here, take it…
Lydia holds out her arm. Porky's front leg end splits in two to become a grabber-thing. He reaches out… And then, Lydia stuffs her gun into the grabber.
Lydia
On second thought, I happen to like this world!
Porky
What? What did you do?!
Lydia scrambles away as her gun makes loud noises. It explodes into a ball of pink, destroying one of Porky's front legs. Lydia gets back behind the shield.
Porky
You will all pay for this!
Two giant lasers pop out of the robot's side, and begin firing an intense beam of red. It starts eating through the shield.
Kang
Very clever, Lydia…
Lydia
I know.
Kang
Yeah, except now you don't have a gun, idiot!
Lydia smacks him.
Kang
Watch it! I'm trying to keep this shield up!
Ness
Tracy… Heh. Who knew you could use PSI one day? Can you use the technique that sends a
wave energy outwards? Your mind names it for you… After your favorite thing…
Tracy
Oh. You mean PK Puppies?
Ness
Puppies, huh? Yeah, that should be the one. I'm going to try and use my version again.
Tracy
Are you sure you can do it?
Ness
I guess I'll know in a few moments.
Ness
Listen, everyone… Here's what we're going to do.
Close up on Porky. The reflection of the five appear on his glass tubing.
Porky
(I'm running out of time. I need to get these insects out of my way…)
Kang
This is it! I can't hold it anymore!
Back on the five, each looking quite defiant. As the laser finally breaks the shield…
Ness
Now!
They split up. The lasers follow Ness and Tracy. Lydia stands her ground, acting as a decoy. While Porky is distracted, Kang fires PK Freeze at a few of his legs, immobilizing him. Porky's other grabber leg extends to grab Ness, but he takes out his bat and SMAAAASHES the leg joint, damaging it and causing sparks to shoot out. On Tracy's side, one of the legs lashes out to hit her, but she gets on the mecha-broom and blasts off on it like it was a powerful pogo-stick. She lands on one side of the machine, while Ness gets on the other. Porky, now desperate, charges at Lydia, his legs breaking free of Kang's ice.
Porky
You are mine! Everything is for me! ME!
Ness and Tracy
PK… ROCKIN PUPPIES!
Their massive psychic attacks pick up nearby benches, lamp posts, rocks, garbage, whatever, and sends it blasting towards Porky. Both attacks merge; Ness' blue, yellow, and red and Tracy's light blue and pink, mixing in with all the stuff they picked up.
Porky
Gah! Picky, help your brother!
Picky
You... are not... my brother!
Picky fires his bazooka into the chaos. A mess of psychic power knits together and then turns into a sphere of energy, exploding so violently it leaves a small crater behind. When it dissipates, the party is exhausted, and Porky's machine is damaged badly, shooting out sparks everywhere.
Porky
I… I will never be defeated… Just you watch…
Suddenly, lightning begins spewing out of the clouds. The time tear shudders, and turns red. Everything nearby also turns bright red cause it's the scary part. The time tear quickly grows and looks pissed off. The wind shows us that everything is being sucked in.
Porky
N-no! This was my chance! I can't go back now!
Ness
It's sucking everything in! Get back! Grab onto something!
The time tear sucks in everything nearby, including the happy cow head, police barricades, entire cars… We see Dr. Andonuts observing this from the steps of the school.
Dr. Andonuts
My goodness…
We see a large panel of the entire scene. Porky is grabbing onto the road for dear life. Ness and Picky hold onto Tracy, while Lydia and Kang only have a lamp post or fence or statue to hang onto. Elsewhere but nearby, we see the animals coming to. Many of the closer ones to the tear try to run away, but are sucked in, some even going airborne. We also see Marvin run in, who doesn't notice the tear at first somehow. He picks up his bunny.
Marvin
There you are! Always getting away from me, Mr. Fuzzkin!
Marvin looks up and notices the tear.
Marvin
W-what is that?! Aaahhhh!
He turns to run, but the tear grows exponentially all of a sudden.
Marvin
AAaaaaah!!!!
Still clutching onto his rabbit, Marvin is sucked in.
Dr. Andonuts
Dear me! They need help!
Dr. Andonuts runs down. As he helps Kang, he notices Porky and recognizes his face.
Dr. Andonuts
Wait… is that? No…
Ness
Dr. Andonuts! Get out of here!
Dr. Andonuts notices that Lydia has lost her grasp and is sliding on the ground, nearing Porky, who is well anchored to the street.
Porky
A little closer… a little closer!
In a profile shot, we see how close the grabber is to Lydia. Even though it's damaged, it still poses a threat.
Lydia
No! Help!
Kang (safe and standing up)
Lydia! Someone help Lydia!
Porky
You're mine, mine, mine!
Kang
Gah, PK Tornado!
Kang summons another tornado near Porky which shoves him back.
Porky
(Can't… hold on… much longer!)
Kang collapses, his eyes half closed. His tornado disappears and Porky begins crawling up to Lydia.
Kang
(That's it… I'm completely… out…)
Porky
Now I have you!
The grabber opens up fully and comes down on Lydia like a meteor.
Dr. Andonuts
Leave her alone, you fiend!
Dr. Andonuts runs up and blocks Lydia. He gets grabbed instead and struggles in the grabber.
Porky
What? You?! I don't want you! It was your time machine that did this to me in the first place!
Dr. Andonuts
You wicked boy! Leave these kids alone!
Porky
Lydia is mine! You hear me? Mine! *cough*
Dr. Andonuts manages to reach down into his pocket and produce a donut.
Dr. Andonuts
Here, have a snack!
He throws the donut. It explodes on Porky's glass tubing, smearing jelly all over the place.
Porky
I can't see! Aaargh! No! Nooo! Ness! Ness, help me!
Porky's robot legs give out, and in one epic panel, he is flung backwards and sucked into the time tear. His grabber is the last thing through. Before Dr. Andonuts disappears, he has some last words for the kids.
Dr. Andonuts
Take care of Jeff, will you? Don't worry about me! I don't know where I'm going, but I don't mind a little adventure!
Ness
Dr. Andonuts!
The grabber finally goes through, and the time tear violently collapses in on itself. It becomes a singularity, and then explodes into a flare of red. Instantly afterwards, the sky begins to clear. Random debris rains down from the sky. A few panels of silence and realization, the party helping each other up, etc. On the top of the next page, Jeff comes out and looks around.
Jeff
Oh, my…
He runs up to Ness.
Jeff
Ness… What happened?
Ness
…
Jeff
…
Hang on that moment a panel longer, and then switch to the entire party plus Jeff, and Ness on the stairs of the school. It's night now, the lights are on, and a large cleaning crew has arrived to begin repairing and cleaning the mess. Jeff's weapons are in a pile near him. Picky has his jacket off.
Jeff
Dad… Where could he be, I wonder…
Ness
Jeff, I'm really sorry. There was nothing I could do…
Jeff
It's all right. He saved Lydia. I think, somehow, everything worked out in the end… But I still can't
believe that Porky was behind all this… I mean, that's what I thought when all this began, but to
think that he's been rejected now by every era in the history of time… Where could he of had gone?
Tracy
And he took with him a lot of zoo animals. Even Marvin…
Jeff
Well… Wherever my dad is now, maybe he can help the others in some way.
Lydia
…
Jeff
Lydia, before this happened, my dad pinpointed your father's location using the warp signature.
Lydia
Really?!
Jeff
Yes… It turns out that he was trapped in the school's clock tower the entire time. The fire crew should
be getting him down as we speak.
We see a ladder truck with a fire fighter on it helping a shadowy figure off the clock tower.
Back on the ground…
Kang
Speaking of dads… I had better get home… Except, I'm so tired, I can barely move.
Lydia
Same here.
Tracy
Yeah… I think we could definitely use some rest…
Picky
…
Tracy
Picky? Are you going to be okay? It couldn't of had been easy on you… Fighting your own brother
like that.
Picky
… Yeah. He was always ambitious. Never let anything get in his way… And maybe, in his own way,
he is happy… I just hope that he doesn't cause suffering to someone else.
Jeff
I'll see if I can let you stay the night in some dorms. We can talk more in the morning.
Tracy
Thanks, Jeff.
Jeff
Come on, let's find you all a place to stay.
They all get up and leave. Make the last panel of them leaving a wider one from the side, just as they are going inside. Something barely visible is floating on the right side of the panel, actually touching the side of the panel like it's not supposed to. This thing needs about five small panels all to its own. The first one is from further away, and the last four are closer. On the second panel, there is narration dialogue.

This threat seems to of have been nullified… I suppose I will now enter into stasis… And wait until a
another threat shall arise…
On the next three panels, it slowly disappears and closes its eyes until nothing is left on the last panel.
