Earth Population: 48.2 Billion Founded: Dawn of History Earth is the home world of humans, who later created the felile, beings that now make up close to 1% of the world’s population. Overcrowding has been worsened due to rising sea levels and strained resources. Most mining operations have been exhausted and moved off-world, and the GUA heavily relies on NovaQ’s support for cost of infrastructure repair and upgrades, including the high costs of adapting coastal cities to the widening oceans or moving them altogether. Hundreds of orbital resorts and starports hang above the world. Home of the floating city of Valice, which remains as something of a “holy place” for the felile. |

Luna Population: 4.3 Million Founded: 2195, again in 2250 Originally lightly colonized in the last 22nd century, all settlements were destroyed at the outset of the Imperial Falsified War by what Valice has identified (and kept classified) as Darkness vessels. It was later resettled some years after the Civil War after the economy stabilized. There are no efforts to terraform the satellite, and most colonies are underground in honeycomb formations filled with artificial environments. The world’s finances rely on Helium-3 mining, and over half of the water its people use is absorbed directly from the moon itself. It has 5 delegates in the GUA senate. |

Mars Population: 51,200 Founded: 2110, again in 2265 The birthplace of the felile, the original Terra Force settlement still exists as a weathered husk in the eastern hemisphere, a place where felile sometimes visit on pilgrimages. Later recolonized, it is undergoing a slow process of terraforming. Atmosphere generators litter its surface, and its only major settlement, Tharsis City, is protected by a forcefield. Its two moons had long ago been brought closer to strengthen their effect on Mars’ core, generating a more effective magnetic field. With Centreon now the likely candidate for primary human colonization, Mars was relegated to a backwater world. It has 2 delegates in the GUA senate. |

Europa Population: 19,500 Founded: 2274 A moon that fascinates astrobiologists, Europa was settled during the expansion wave past the asteroid belt. Europa governs the Jovian moons as best as its small political and military force can, controlling mining operations and their cargo, most of which goes to Earth. It has a large research station, which like its colonies, is under the world’s thick ice. Decades of research have been undergone on the microscopic life that has grown and evolved around thermal vents, a discovery so profound that a Cristyl City university academy was constructed that today serves an entire science major. Europa has 2 delegates in the GUA senate. |

Enceladus Population: 9,800 Founded: 2276 Home to the furthest human settlements in the solar system, Enceladus is a cold rock with geysers that shoot ice high into the atmosphere as it orbits Saturn. It has few permanent residents other than miners and scientists, but its three hotels and spaceports are often packed with wealthy tourists out to spend a few weeks on one of Saturn’s many starship cruiseliners. Aside from providing water to Saturn’s colonies and mining facilities, Enceladus also has a wide array of research stations and telescopes used to peer deep into the universe, unhindered by the Earth’s atmosphere or the sun’s glare. This distant world has one delegate in the GUA senate. |

Centreon Population: 25,000 Founded: 2287 Discovered 35 years ago, Centreon was confirmed to have an life-supporting atmosphere. The colonist vessels that had been developed for solar expansion were modified for distant travel, and had their wormhole drives upgraded. The first ships and supplies arrived 25 years ago, and the settlers began constructing the capital of Center City. Centreon is an old world supporting a basic life network, and is no longer tectonically active. It is covered with green fields and has few mountains, no oceans, and only three major seas. It is represented so far by a single delegate in the GUA senate, though he has yet to set foot on his own world. |

Nexus Population: 5,000 Founded: 2305 Centreon’s only moon, Nexus is a watery planet with only 3% of its land above the waves. It is a cold world, and only its equator is inhabited by humans thus far. Its life is even stranger than Centreon’s bull beetles and giant crimson birds, and no one knows what all might lurk in the world’s deepest depths. It has a single colony, primarily used for deep sea drilling and long-distance communication arrays. An extension of Centreon used for research, forging, and mining, it doesn’t yet have any delegates to the GUA senate, nor does it have an independent government. |
